SkypeSkype is an application which allows you to make phone calls, including video calls if desired, for free to any country via your computer

One-to-one tuition via Skype (with or without a webcam). You can take the lessons at the time, frequency and length which are convenient for you, from your home, office, or anywhere else that works for you. While Skype lessons are usually pre-booked, if the tutor is listed as online and available you may request a lessons there and then.

E-mail packages are bought at a flat monthly rate, which allows the learner unlimited access during this time

Emailing can be used as a way of corresponding, with feedback and corrections, for example on a book you have read or on general topics as you might to a friend. It may also be used to e-mail in exercises you have done, for example from a textbook, in order to receive feedback, or to ask questions on aspects of the lessons which are unclear. The tutor will respond within 48 (business) hours.

ChatUse ‘Chat’ via Skype, Windows Live or MSN

An msn, Windows Live or Skype “chat” can last up to twenty minutes, and can take the form of a conversation in the foreign language, with feedback if required.
You may also use it as a forum to ask questions regarding any issues you may have in the language, or for advice regarding learning methods. “Chat” packages, like e-mail packages, are based on a flat monthly rate, with no limits on the number of chats during this time. |
